Established in 1998, The Lucky Charm has grown from a small, one-off business to a successful franchise. We credit our success to hard work, determination, and the ability to always think of the customer first.

By staying focused on both our short and long-term goals and concentrating on keeping our customers happy, we have succeeded in what has become a tough retail environment.

In part, the people at The Lucky Charm make it a success, especially our founder Mike Kentros. Mike and his wife Helen were newsagents for 19 years so they understand the pressures and requirements needed to run a successful business.

The Lucky Charm Support Office is based in Perth, Western Australia.

The Lucky Charm system is a combination of years of retail experience and a vision into the future of retail in our industry. Founders Mike and Helen, have had some sensational business success stories in these categories.

From their first newsagency in Kardinya in 1985 to the purchase of the store in Mirrabooka in 1992, from Vice Chairman of ANCOL WA to the opening of their first franchised store in 1998, they have been leaders in the category.

Today they lead Western Australia's strongest news, lottery and tobacco brand and have taken the TLC model and expanded into Queensland.
